Do we sell your data?

We do not sell your data.

We do use web-analysis / web-tracking tools on our website, but only if you provide your consent or opt-in to such web-analysis / web-tracking.

If you provided your consent to such web analysis, our service providers will receive some information about you that may qualify as personal information, e.g. an IP address.

In addition they may also count how often you visited our website, which page you stayed on the longest, etc. They regularly will also place a small text file (cookie) on your computer, including a unique user identification number, in order to check whether this is a first or recurring visit to our website.

The provider then produces anonymized statistics concerning the usage of our website. This helps us to improve our website, analyze trends, and understand the needs of our website audience.

International data transfers

User-provided data
User provided data is transferred from your country of origin to data centres located in the United Kingdom.

Automatically collected data
Automatically collected data may be processed by Google Analytics and your data will therefore be transferred to one of their United States data centres. Data processed by Lead Forensics will be transferred from your country of origin to data centres in the United Kingdom.

Both the United Kingdom and the United States have been deemed to offer an adequate level of data protection by the European Commission.

Data Retention Periods

We only store personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Personal data will be deleted or securely anonymized for each purpose as follows:

User-provided data

  • To communicate with you
  • To provide White Papers or Book chapters to you
  • To market and provide our products and services to you

We will delete or anonymize your data as soon as you withdraw consent or opt out from communication with us. Backups of data sent via request forms are held on our website’s hosting server for up to 90 days.

  • To prevent and investigate fraud and other misuse

We will delete or anonymize your data when it is no longer fulfilling the above purposes. User logs are held on our website hosting server for up to a year.

  • To keep a record of consent and opt in/out

We will delete or anonymize your data when it is no longer fulfilling the above purpose. If you opt out of communication from us, we will store some of your data to keep a record of your opt out to ensure our team does not contact you again.

  • To manage and resolve complaints by you
  • To protect our rights and/or our property

We will delete or anonymize your data when it is no longer required for the above purposes.

Where do we get personal information from?

What are my rights?

In law you are the “Data Subject”, and you have several rights that you can exercise over your data such as the right to access, correct, and request to delete your personal information, data portability, restricting the processing or objecting to it if it was done under legitimate interests.

Access to your data
You can request access to the information we hold about you, with some limited exceptions, and we will also tell you;

  • why we are processing it;
  • who are we sharing it with and if any information is transferred to a country not deemed to have adequate protections in place for personal data;
  • how long will we be keeping your data;
  • the source of the information if it was not collected directly from you;
  • if we are using your data for automated decision making or profiling.

If you make a request for a copy of the personal information that we are processing, please be as specific as possible as this will both help us to identify the information more quickly and provide you with a copy without any undue delay.

Rectifying inaccuracies
If you feel the information we hold on you is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct or update it.

Right to be forgotten
You can also request that we erase your information, although that might not always be possible if doing so means we cannot perform our contract with you, or we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest to keep the information. We will explain the consequences of erasing your information.

Where we are relying upon your consent or the fact that the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party as the legal basis for processing, and that personal information is processed by automatic means, you have the right to receive all such personal information which you have provided to Inpharmation in a structured, commonly used and machine‑readable format, and also to require us to transmit it to another controller where this is technically feasible.
